Bandersnatch was the first movie of its kind on Netflix. Part of the Netflix Tv show Black Mirror, Bandersnatch is an interactive movie which allows the viewerr to select from options which change the course of the movie.

Bandersnatch sticks with the main theme of Black Mirror (which is a mix of sci-fi, horror and thriller) and just like most Black Mirror the theme seamlessly fits with the story.

The movie also showcased some great acting performances especially by Stefan (main character) who naturally shwocases he is a geek but dealing with psychotic issues. Stefan truly displays great acting skill towards the end of the main ending when he is having a psychotic breakdown.

The true uniques of this Black Mirror movie in comparison to the regular episodes of Black Mirror is the fact, there it is interactive. Uses can view multiple endings and see how select different options affect the ending. By including this interactivnes I personally felt more attentive and much more excited about the movie. I felt this thrill wondering what would’ve happened if I selected a different choice.

Although, I give this movie 4/5 there are some major downsides. All the endings besides the main ending, felt rushed and not of Black Mirror Quality. Also although the main ending finished superbly (and unexpected) I felt it didn’t have the twist that was expecterd and that is why I removed a star

Overall Bandersnatch is a must watch movie, even if you are not interested in the theme, the interactivnes makes it much more interesting (and fun) but we have seen better endings from Black Mirror
